The most convenient way to reach Venezia is by train.
The
Trenitalia
website can be used to check train hours. Trains arrive at the Santa Lucia train station.
The venue can be reached from the train station on foot in 30 minutes.
Alternatively, you can take the vaporetto line 1 from Ferrovia E to Accademia (direction Lido S.M.E.)
or line 2 from Ferrovia B to S. Samuele (direction S. Marco Giardinetti). Both take around 30 minutes.
Venezia (Piazzale Roma) can be reached from the Marco Polo airport by urbano bus line 5
or by bus express.
From the Piazzale Roma, the venue can be reached on foot or by the previously mentioned vaporetto lines.
Visiting Venezia by car is discouraged due to parking problems. Nevertheless, you can park your car at multiple parkings outside Venezia. You can then reach the city center on foot or by public transportation.
The Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti can be entered through the gardens from the entrance at the Campo Santo Stefano.
