How to get to the conference

The most convenient way to reach L'Aquila is by bus via Rome.

The best connection is provided by the bus company TUA which connects the Roma Tiburtina train station to the bus station L'Aquila Collemaggio, which is close to the city center and to meeting venue. The trip takes 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Further bus connections from Rome to L'Aquila are offered by Gaspari Bus and Flixbus, which, however, do not stop close to the city center, which needs to be reached by taxi or local bus lines

These companies also offer a direct connection from the Rome Fiumicino Airport. These connections, however, are not very fast do not reach the city center stop of L'Aquila Collemaggio. If you are travelling to Rome by airplane, it might be a better option to take the direct train from the airport to Roma Tiburtina Station (which is fast and travels very frequently) and then continue to L'Aquila with the TUA bus.
