How to get to Venice

By plane. The closest airport is Venice Marco Polo (VCE). From the airport you can reach Piazzale Roma by ATVO express bus or by ACTV bus line 5, in roughly 20–25 minutes. Alternatively, Alilaguna water buses connect the airport directly to several stops in Venice.

A second airport is Treviso (TSF), about 40 km away and mostly served by low-cost carriers, connected to Piazzale Roma by ATVO bus in about 70 minutes.

By train. Venice has two main stations. To reach the congress venue, travel to Venezia Santa Lucia. Trenitalia and Italo offer frequent high-speed connections to Milan, Bologna, Florence and Rome.

Getting around. From Piazzale Roma or Santa Lucia train station you can reach the venue on foot or by vaporetto (water bus), operated by ACTV. If you are staying several days, a multi-day travel pass is usually cheaper than single tickets.
